Blue Knights LEMC Chapter England X
The Blue Knights® International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club, is a non-profit fraternal organisation consisting of active and retired law enforcement officers who enjoy riding motorcycles. In the Spring of 1974, several law enforcement officers from Bangor, Maine (USA) area met and formed a small, local motorcycle club. Soon, Blue Knight chapters were being formed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and beyond. With the addition of Canada, and later the rest of the world it became an international organisation.

We are comprised of active, and retired law enforcement officers and we strive to promote our organisation as being a family fraternity. Spouses and children often accompany our members to the various rides and functions.

Members can ride a bike of their choosing, all makes and models are welcome.
We do not have a probationary period for members, we believe we are all already brothers and sisters in the Law Enforcement family and everything that means.

The origins of Chapter England X (10) began in the late nineties with Corey, a US serviceman stationed at RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk. He was a motorcycle trainer and an enthusiastic advocate for the Blue Knights and decided to start a local Chapter. He made contact with Cambridgeshire Constabulary and Dawnie, a Special Constable and keen motorcyclist, answered the call. They became the first President and Vice President and started with nine members, also drawing from friends in the Royal Air Force. England X was the first Anglo American Chapter and this heritage is reflected in our badge which is unique in featuring the UK and USA flags. The new Chapter was well received and supported by brother and sister Blue Knights in the UK and Europe. Membership grew and our charter was granted in November 2000.
Since then we have accepted members from several police forces, HM Prison Service, Royal Military Police, and Border Force. Our membership has traditionally been drawn from the four counties of Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Over the years we have sought to support causes that are close to our hearts and our charitable activities have contributed millions of pounds toward various charities throughout the world.
